Submit a change of address form.
Submit a name change form along with a copy of marriage certificate or other legal recorded documentation indicating the name change.
Bayou State Oil Corporation offers condolences to the family of the deceased interest owner. Upon notification, all decedent's interest will be held in suspense until the requirements listed are met and provided to Bayou State Oil Corporation's division order department.
Affidavit of Death and Heirship
Payments are made either by check or by Direct Deposit (ACH) on the 20th of each month. If the amount is less than $25.00, payment will be held until $25.00 is reached or January 31 (whichever comes first).
If you have not received your revenue check, please allow 10 days for the mail to process your check. If you still have not received your check, or you have misplaced your revenue check, please call our office and have your name, owner number, and social security number available in order for a stop payment or to reissue your check. You may also submit a Lost Check Form.
It is Bayou State Oil Corporation's policy that if you fail to deposit two (2) or more revenue checks in a timely fashion, your royalties will then be placed in suspense until you can provide Bayou State Oil Corporation with information for direct deposit (ACH). No paper checks will be issued.
All monies held in Bayou State Oil Corporation's suspense, in which there has been no contact with our revenue and royalty department within the required time applicable to the owner's last known address, will be subject to the Unclaimed Property Laws of that State.
